The person you take care of must meet the following criteria:
Need assistance with daily living activities such as feeding, dressing, bathing and more.
Be Medicaid eligible in Georgia.
Be the participant in the CCSP or the SOURCE Waiver Program.
Lives with the Person providing their care.
DAILY TASKS FOR TAKING CARE OF A FAMILY MEMBER TO QUALIFY FOR STIPEND:
Caregivers May Qualify by Providing daily Tasks Examples are:
Meal Preparation
Eating
Bathing
Dressing
Getting in and out of bed
Transportation to and from appointments
Moving around in the house
Getting in and out of chairs
Other activities of daily living.
REQUIREMENTS FOR
PROVIDING CARE AT HOME:
To qualify as a family caregiver under the Structured Family Caregiver Program you must:
Be dedicated to providing caregiving services at home.
Cannot have employment outside the home.
Cannot run a business from the home such as a on-line store.
Once approved under the Structured Family Caring Program, you become an employee of Ruby’s Personal Home Care as a primary caregiver. This means payment for services are direct deposited into your account weekly.
Tax-Free Financial Stipend: Receive a tax-free financial stipend, paid weekly, and conveniently direct deposited for your caregiving services. We believe in recognizing and rewarding your invaluable contributions.
